# A spiritual retreat center, *at the heart of it all.*

Before strategy, before structure, before the gift — we begin with God. Everything else at A New Gift draws its order and its life from this quiet center.

This is the still point that the four works turn around. A place to seek first the Kingdom — so that your generosity, leadership, and service flow from a heart that has first received.

- **Guided retreats** for philanthropists, founders, fundraisers, and nonprofit leaders — making space for you to discern your vocation before action.
- **Classes from trusted teachers** in formation and the spiritual life, drawing on faithful, experienced partners and religious leaders.
- **Days of recollection and accompaniment** woven through every program, so your interior life is never an afterthought.

A New Gift is a mobile classroom — joining our faithful friends on location throughout the country, with a future home in Virginia. At each location, **Mass is the center of the work** — the Eucharist as the source from which all the work flows.

The Order of the Center

## Love, *rightly ordered.*

Saint Hildegard von Bingen saw creation as a set of concentric circles — everything held in right relation to God at the center, alive with *viriditas*, the greening power of the Spirit. A New Gift takes the same shape.

Philanthropy, management, fundraising, and the work we give away are not four separate businesses. They are four expressions of one center. Put first things first, and each finds its rightful place — and bears fruit.

The Vision

## A place to gather — *online and where you are.*

Today, A New Gift lives as a connected web: retreats, training, guidance, and partnerships woven together and offered online and at partner locations. The vision is a retreat campus with a chapel at its heart, where you come to be formed and sent.

We are building it in the right order: God first, then the people, then the place.
